IEEE SECON 2013 Camera Ready

In order for your paper to be in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore you need to complete these five steps:

  1.  Revise your Paper
  2.  Check your paper with IEEE PDF eXpress
  3.  Register for the conference with payment
  4.  Submit your copyright transfer
  5.  Upload the Final Version of your paper in EDAS

1. Revise your Paper

Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. When you are done with the revision, please print out your paper and carefully proof read it. The final manuscript must NOT contain page numbers.

The manuscript template can be found at http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html .

Your final manuscript should have no page numbers and no headers/footers. Use a non-zero PDF top and bottom margins (typically, at least 0.5 inches) to help indicate if there are any page numbers.

2. Check your paper with IEEE PDF eXpress

IEEE PDF eXpress has been made available (http://www.pdf-express.org) for checking the IEEE Xplore compatibility of PDF files and provide assistance to authors to correct problems with their files. Instructions for IEEE PDF eXpress for IEEE SECON 2013 can be found at http://www.pdf-express.org/frhelp.asp.

The conference ID for IEEE PDF eXpress is "secon13x".

IEEE is very strict about the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. The new IEEE Xplore Requirements for PDF will be enforced. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must be in Xplore-compatible PDF format. IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function).

It is important to note that submitting a file to IEEE PDF eXpress is only for creation of a compliant PDF file, you must still submit your final paper through EDAS.

3. Register for the conference

In order to upload your paper you must first register for the conference. You will need your Registration Code (Confirmation) when you upload your camera-ready paper. Author registration deadline is April 15.

IEEE and IEEE Communications Society Policies
All IEEE SECON 2013 technical papers must be associated with an author registration at the FULL rate. For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL registration is valid for up to three papers. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

4. IEEE copyright form

Before you upload your Final paper, you will need to submit your IEEE copyright form using the IEEE electronic copyright mechanism. Please follow the link provided on the EDAS paper submission page.

5. Upload your paper

Your Final paper must be uploaded in EDAS by April 15th, 2013. The final manuscript must NOT contain page numbers.

To submit your Final paper, please go to EDAS, click on the “My Papers” button, and then upload your paper on the link provided. DO NOT go to "Submit paper". If you experience any problems during the upload
